Poster presentation: 

• To display the art of expressing the research work in a short time to the audience.

• The research work was carried out in the department. 

• Guidelines: Posters may be designed using Microsoft power point or Adobe photoshop. The poster shall be prepared in (height 100 cm and width 85 cm) size. Oversized posters will be disqualified. Please ensure good quality paper and printing while producing the poster. 

Metallography: 

• The event features the best work of metallographers and microstructural analysts from the department. 

• Guidelines: The micrographs should be in colored or black or white types, and they should be pasted on white A4 size paper.  On the front side, along with the microstructure, there should be an attractive figure caption, a brief description of the micrograph (30 words maximum), technique used and specialist of the micrograph. On the back side, there should be name of the contestant along with declaration that "This is contestant's original work"

3-Minute Thesis: 

• An event that challenges participants to present their research effectively and concisely in just three minutes. 

• Guidelines: Presentations are limited to 3 minutes maximum and competitors exceeding 3 minutes are disqualified. PowerPoint presentation of 1 slide is permitted. No slide transitions, animations or 'movement' of any description are allowed. No additional electronic media (e.g. sound and video files) are permitted.
