Hey there! Let me be the first to congratulate you on your journey as a Scentsy Consultant. We are so excited to have you here as a member of our #waxfam My name is Ashton Petrie, and I'm your SuperStar Director. I joined Scentsy in 2013, and it has truly changed not only my life, but my family's life as well.

I joined because I was a full time working Mom with two small children who I desperately wanted to be home with. I couldn't just quit my job so I had to find something that could eventually replace that income. After smelling my all time favorite scent Central Park Pralines I knew this wax slinging biz could be the amswer. I worked hard to move up the ranks of our compensation plan, and I hit the tippy top back in 2016.

Now I get to spend my days helping others break free from the 9-5 ball and chain or just earning some extra cash to pay for Christmas or ballet lessons for their beebs.

I hope this site helps you simplify your business, and get off to a great start. You can do incredible things - be brave, work hard, and dream BIG! I can't wait to walk alongside you as you embark on this journey!

Tips to achieve this!

Set up your LAUNCH event ASAP. The quicker the better. Ask your sponsor to assist you with this. This can be done in person or online.
Tell everyone you know that you started your own business and ask if they'd like an invite to your launch event. Let them know....no pressure.
When your kit comes, GO LIVE and unbox it. Show your excitement and invite people to learn more.
Ask your closest friends and family members if they would like to help you get your business off the ground while they earn FREE Scentsy.
Start getting those catalogs and testers into peoples hands.

How to Create a Party Link, Enter Orders

and Redeem Hostess Rewards

Host or no host - every time you're submitting an order, do it as a party. Why? Because someone is going to be getting those host rewards! If you don't have a host, those rewards go to you!

TWO OPTIONS:

Less than $200 retail, order it through your PWS (personal website) and be sure to click on that party link. This will help you accumulate to reduced/free shipping and host rewards.

$200+, order it through your Workstation as a party and be sure you redeem your host rewards before you submit (they don’t roll over - they’re use it or lose it)

Once you redeem the 50% off items, this will go away. When So if you ever don’t want to use them...at least get a light bulb so you're only out a buck and get something!

The PERPETUAL REWARD is a half price item that is attached to every party that is separate from the host rewards. Its true purpose is if someone books a party from a host's party - then your host gets a half-priced item when her friend closes their party.

If you are the host, or the host didn’t book from another party...you get to use the perpetual reward ANY way you choose.

This is one of the best things you can do for your business. Create a follow up system or use AMI as your follow up system. It is a lot easier to take care of the customers that you have instead of always having to hustle to find new ones.

*AMI is an app that is so user friendly and makes follow up a breeze! It IS a paid subscription, but there are many different subscription options, it connects to your WorkStation, and its A TAX WRITE OFF!

BE RESOURCEFUL

We encourage questions. It means you are eager to learn. Most of your immediate questions can be answered by doing your NEW CONSULTANT, FIRST THINGS FIRST CHECKLIST, reading your NEW CONSULTANT start up guide that will come in your kit, carefully reading through all the content here and being a little resourceful.

Your sponsor may tell you where to find the information you are seeking. This is not because they don't want to answer it, they are leading you to the answer to build you up as an independent leader and not a leech. It is vital you learn where to find the answers so you can teach you new teammates where to find what they are seeking as well.

Use your chain of command. It is designed to serve you best.

SCAM ALERT!!

Beware of scams. Not sure how they find us, but this will likely happen to all new consultants. They do this to all Direct Selling companies. Beware if you should receive an email or text requesting:

* Products in multiples

* Large order of $200 or more

* It's for a family member or event

* They are deaf

* They want to send you a cashiers check for payment

* They send the check for $700 or more over the amount

* They want you to money gram them the difference

What's going on:

* The check is fake

* By the time you order the product and send the difference in funds, the check bounces

* Your bank then drafts your account for the full amount

* You are out the full amount of the check

* You are out the products

Don't be a victim of these horrible scams. Always ask before acting if you are unsure. You can ignore them or simply say no thank you, all orders must be placed online. You can also provide the information to the local authorities.
