Hello and welcome to my site! I would like to take a moment to tell you a little bit about myself and my background. In 1994, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Winthrop University. In 1995, I completed my Master's of Education degree in Learning Disabilities from Francis Marion University. I have 22 years of teaching experience and have been a teacher in Lexington/Richland District for the majority of those years. Previously, I taught in Horry County before moving to Chapin. I have taught students in kindergarten through eighth grades, which has given me a variety of experiences in working with different age groups.
As I think back and remember the teachers who taught me throughout the years, I either remember a teacher positively or negatively. I remember things that they said and did that either made me feel encouraged or discouraged. When my students grow up and become adults, I hope that they remember me as someone who encouraged them, made them feel cared for, and helped them view learning positively.
