Please note: OpenCCC is where students can apply to any California Community College, you will still need to apply specifically to Los Angeles Valley College after creating an Open CCC account. You will need to create both a OpenCCC apply account and LAVC application, please note both confirmation numbers to ensure proper submission.
Most applications are processed within 48 hours of being submitted, sometimes applications may take up to 10 business days to be processed. Once the application is processed, students receive an email with their student ID number. Students should check the email account they provided on their application, for an email from: noreply@email.laccd.edu. This email sometimes inadvertently goes into spam, make sure to be checking the spam folder as well.
Password Reset for LAVC Portal: Email lavcstudentsupport@laccd.edu using the email you applied with and include your full name, student ID number, and date of birth (DDMMYY).
