I've been stressing looking for this one lofi song that has some sort of piano at the beginning acompanied by "Ooo's" then the beat drops then the piano from the beggining is looped and at some point you hear "welcome, welcome" If you know what song this is please let me know

I discovered this song when my district adopted the Spotlight on Music series many years ago. It has such a bright happy sound! BUT, my kindergarten and first graders came to music in the afternoon! The song works just as well by substituting "afternoon" for "morning."

This popular song first appeared in a ballad opera, then likely in home parlors, perhaps accompanied by harpsichord or violin (or both). It was probably not performed in the streets. The text is formal and set to a melodious and florid lyrical line, requiring a certain amount of vocal skill. Thus, the performers and the audience were likely among those affluent enough to have some training.

I had the inspiration for this book so very long ago. I knew I wanted to communicate the wonder of a baby growing inside the womb and how the whole earth comes together to welcome a child at the moment of birth. It was a tall order.

I decided to have a sister, Emma, come up with the idea of sharing her favorite sounds, the sounds of all the seasons, which I hoped would culminate into a beautiful welcome song, a celebration of sounds and seasons, nature and family. I hope A Welcome Song for Baby is the perfect book for any child preparing to welcome a new little sister or brother.

"Welcome Back" is a song by American rapper Mase. It was released through Sean "Puffy" Combs' Bad Boy Entertainment as the first single off his third studio album Welcome Back. It marked the first single that Mase had released since 1999's "Get Ready", after he had taken a 5-year hiatus from the music industry.

"Welcome Back" garnered positive reception from critics who praised its catchability. The song peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart and number 32 on the Hot 100 chart. It also reached number 17 on both the Hot Rap Songs and Rhythmic charts respectively. The song has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), denoting sales of over 500,000 units in America. "Welcome Back" also reached the top 40 in countries like New Zealand, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

AllMusic's David Jeffries praised the track for being reminiscent of early Mase, saying that it's "lyric-filled, driven but effortless, and has a crafty interpolation of a pop tune, this time the Welcome Back, Kotter theme song."[1] Jessica Koslow of HipHopDX put it alongside "Breathe, Stretch, Shake" as being "sure-fire radio/club joints."[2] Rashaun Hall of Billboard said the production work by The Movement on the sample produced "infectious results."[3] Chadwicked of Tiny Mix Tapes praised Mase for maintaining his rap flow while under a different image, saying that "It proves that a man such as Mase can rhyme over a sample from Welcome Back, Kotter; dress up like Mister Rogers in the video and have an 80-year old female back-up dancer, and still be taken seriously and appreciated."[4]

"Welcome Back" debuted at number 52 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week of June 5, 2004.[5] It reached number 40 the week after and peaked at number 32 the week of June 19,[6] staying on the chart for eleven weeks.[7] On the Hot Rap Songs chart, it debuted at number 13 for the week of June 5, 2004.[8] Three weeks later, it peaked at number 8 the week of June 26.[9] It debuted at number 46 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and then moved to number 23 for the week of June 5, 2004.[10] Four weeks later, it reached its peak at number 17 for the week of July 3, 2004.[11] It reached that same position on the Rhythmic chart for the week of July 10, 2004.[12] The song also charted in New Zealand, debuting at number 4 and staying there for four weeks,[13] remaining on the chart for seventeen weeks.[7] In Switzerland, it debuted at number 25 and stayed there for eight weeks and reached number 51 in Germany, with chart progression lasting for seven weeks.[7]

Chrissy Downwind, vice president for American Indian student success and campus diversity officer, Dr. Anton Treuer, professor of Ojibwe, and several other faculty and staff spoke to attendees about the American Indian Resource Center and the services and support it provides to BSU students. A traditional welcome song was also rendered by a local drum group.

So even though I just posted a rhyming song a couple days ago, I have already been hard at work on the next one for you! It typically takes me a little longer in between posts. Why so soon? Well, Rachel Rambach over at Listen and Learn Music is hosting a songwriting challenge!

I signed up right away and am looking forward to the challenge of writing 5 new songs over the next five weeks! I also figured, if I am going to be creating the songs, then I might as well get some extra mileage by sharing them with you.

I gave it a go this afternoon with good initial response. My clients who easily adapt to change loved it! For those who look forward to the structure of singing the same songs each time, I ended up singing both the new AND old greeting song. I know that after hearing a few more repetitions, they will begin to sing along and request the new song. These things just take a little time!

Opening words and song will be by nationally acclaimed author, citizen of the Nipmuc Nation of Massachusetts and director of the Ohketeau Cultural Center, Larry Spotted Crow Mann. Please join us for a talkback with all the performers following the performance.

"Welcome to Radiator Springs" is one of the songs from the music album The Music of Cars Land. It appears twice, with one sung by Larry the Cable Guy (Mater), and the other by Joe Louis Walker. Only Walker's version is available on The Music of Cars Land, while Larry's version is included on Disneyland Resort Official Album, as well as being one of the songs played at the Cars Land attraction Mater's Junkyard Jamboree. An instrumental of Larry's version is also the theme song for Cars Toons: Tales from Radiator Springs.

Children sit at atable or on the floor. All sing the beginning of the song while seated. Then when the welcome to (child s name) verse is sung, each child in turn get up and joins a line (making the train.)

All children sit in a circle. Child thinks of an action to do, e.g clap hands. Everyone sings 'let's clap our hands for____(childs name), let's clap our hands for_____(next child in the circle). Let's clap our hands for____,(next child in the circle) you're welcome here today'. Song finishes when everyone has been welcomed. For young children and new children help with their lines and waving is sometimes needed but most children I have done it with learn it after a while. We do this song whenever there is someone new and when we are singing other songs - we do it about twice a week.

The More Get Together and Read Together

There are two ways to freshen up this traditional welcome song. First, try singing it with sign language. Second, try adding this second verse we learned from Katie at Storytime Secrets. Preschoolers are ready for these added challenges. I also use this when I visit Kindergarten and Grade 1 classes and they enjoy it too.

The "Welcome Song" is always used in the first link of every blockisode of The Good Night Show. The song is performed by Nina, with Star filling in her blanks with the wrong words (i.e. "banana," "noodle") when it's time to say "good night." The song has the same lyrics as the "Goodnight Song." e24fc04721
