It's pretty much standard practice to start RAID 5 with 4 disks, as the benefit vs the risk is better that way (With 3 disks, you might as well consider just buying 2 larger disks and doing a RAID 1 mirror, rather than 3 smaller disks over RAID 5 - the price will probably come out the same either way).

In Windows 10 you can make a raid 10 easily. Just stripe two drives and then mirror them in disk management. Raid 5 is also an option. The difference is 10 has better performance and redundancy, 5 has more storage space.

Windows 10 supports Storage Spaces which is actually very good, use it myself. The down side right now is for parity configurations, RAID 5/6 equiv, the write speed is only around 60MB/s-100MB/s. You can speed this up greatly if you use an SSD as a journal disk to cache writes. You can also do something similar to RAID 10, 2-way mirror, which is very fast but has the down side of only having 50% usable space.

In this NetApp training tutorial, we will focus on NetApp Load Sharing Mirrors. Load Sharing Mirrors are mirror copies of FlexVol volumes which provide redundancy and load balancing. Scroll down for the video and also text tutorial.

Load Sharing Mirrors have full support for CIFs and NFSv3 protocols only. They do not support NFSv4 or SAN protocol clients. NFSv4 clients are compatible with Load Sharing Mirror volumes, but they will always be directed to the source volume for both reads and writes rather than load balanced to the mirror copies for the reads. SAN protocols are not compatible, so do not configure Load Sharing Mirrors for volumes that host LUNs.

When the promote command is run, the new source volume will assume the identity and start the mirror relationships of the old (original) source volume. After you do this, the Load Sharing Mirror application will carry on as before, using the new source volume. You won't need to re-create the replication configuration again.

You can use Load Sharing Mirrors on volumes that have a mix of both NFSv3 and NFSv4 clients. Load Sharing Mirrors are compatible with NFSv4 clients, but those clients will always use the source volume, not the mirrors. Don't configure Load Sharing Mirrors on volumes that have NFSv4 clients only, as you'll only be wasting disk space. The mirrors would never be used.

I used the Ubuntu Server 18.04 alternative installer to set up the Ubuntu partitions as a RAID 1 which mirrors that partition over all hard disks. The installer is able to install Ubuntu into that RAID 1 and GRUB is able to boot from it. In case of a hard disk failure, just removing that hard disk will allow the server to boot again.

Important: As I wrote earlier, I very rarely update software on the server, but the few times an update is needed, the missing harddisks need to be re-inserted into the RAID so that updates are mirrored to all boot partitions.

@Jiraiyah had neat MM patches "MM_Portrait_Stats_PATCH" & "MM_SUIT_COLOR_PATCH" cfg's (that 2nd one, for colors, is so neat!)... & @hemeac has a "KiwiSuitsPortraitStats" cgf plus provided me access to "canopy_Diff.dds" (from his kiwi suits mod, to use as template..PS awesome work!) & both of them had examples of using icons on suits, maybe I can use base suits and use "tiny icons" as nation and agency logos/patches.. to prevent the mirroring of my "stamped on" ones?.

Some of this may need to be relabeled (I'm using this to learn).

Note: Largest unlabeled part is Helmet, the "top" and "1 side that will mirror to other side" (Grey) (side will mirror images/text, on "mirrored side")

Note: If something has "2 of them" on model, but only "1 in the template" it will be "mirrored" to "non-present in image counterpart in game" (side will mirror images/text, as above)

Crossed "grey lines" on "back of shirt" represent backpack strap location on model in game

"Hole" in "L.Arm Sleeve" represents "L.Arm patch" location

"Bar of brighter yellow on "Pant Legs" represents "side stitching" where fabric joins when "wrapped around leg")

"Center chest medal" appears just below "zipper fob (black circle)" of "shirt collar" (which is also front top of chest, over "chest strap" part of backpack straps

"L.chest name plate" appears just above "chest strap" part of "backpack straps", on left

"Strap clips" appear on straps, unsure on if they are in "order", perhaps top left in pic = top left of where it goes on straps? I will check eventually

"Rank patch" appears on (as pictured) "backpack straps" over "chest strap" part of backpack straps, on right (as pictured)

"Grey Line" with slight curve and "raised center line/section" along its length appears to be part of "suit collar"

I am not sure what "black/grey circle with white dashes around circumference represents (I think its related to helmet/Visor (perhaps? directly infront/behind head? or related to "neck ring"?)

I am also not sure what the "light grey/dark grey circle with a gold "C" in center represents (perhaps? part of boot, maybe the "top rim" where it meets pants?)

Backup acts as you might expect. OpenDrive stores the original files online, and when you make any edits locally, it uploads the file again with the changes. The Synchronization option hosts files in a shared folder and mirrors any file changes across devices; it's similar to how Dropbox works. The Move task copies selected files to a specified location and deletes those same files from the source location (essentially like an archive function). The One-Way Mirror task works the same as Backup, with one notable difference: Files are deleted in the destination location if the same files are deleted from the source. You have to select one of these choices every time you create a new backup task.

2x Anti-Fog Water-Repellent Film for Windshield/Mirrors Product description + key features

Key features: Product: Anti-Fog Rain Cover Material: Foil (covered with a water-repellent layer) Film size: 150 x 200 mm Weight: 8 g Quantity in the set: 2 pcs. Coated with a special water-repellent layer Installation: easy and quick Compatibility suitable for all types of mirrors, windows Application: Side mirrors, car glass, bathroom mirrors Included: 2x Hydrophobic foil, Mounting kit (wet and dry cloth, squeegee, dust removal stickers)

A protective rain cover dedicated to the car is a product of exceptional quality that will improve visibility when driving in bad weather conditions, m.in. during rain and heavy fog. The 15 cm x 20 cm film can be fully glued to the windshield or cut to the car mirrors.

The rainscreen has been enriched with a special hydrophobic layer that prevents water droplets and steam from settling on its surface. 1 - Rainproof/anti-fog layer 2 - Adhesive silicone layer 3 - Protective film (removable after installation) 4 - Protective film (removable before installation) The film is fully universal, so we can mount it on the side mirrors or the window of a car or even a motorcycle, in addition, we can also stick it on the mirror in the bathroom.

Safety The protective film is made of exceptional quality PET material, which protects the mirror from scratches or abrasions, in addition, the product does not affect the quality of the reflected image and allows 99% of light to pass through. The film increases safety and comfort of driving in conditions that limit visibility and thus reduces negative factors that may increase the driver's reaction time.

Assembly instructions The set includes all the necessary elements needed to mount the sticker on your mirror. Installation is simple and quick, and the effects of using the product are immediate. Measure the size you need (you can use the whole film or cut it freely) Clean the mirror/glass thoroughly with a wet wipe, then dry it with a dry cloth Make sure that no debris is left on the surface (in case of dust, use dust removal stickers) Apply the protective layer to the surface of the mirror/glass Start peeling off the protective film while sticking it to the mirror, after gluing the whole thing, press the foil with a squeegee Peel off the masking layer (blue) from the top of the foil Done!

Frequently Asked Questions How does a rain sticker on a car mirror work?

A rain sticker on the car mirror prevents raindrops from settling on the mirror by blocking their reflection, resulting in improved visibility in the rain.

Does a rain sticker limit the field of vision on the mirror?

No, the sticker is designed not to restrict your field of vision on the mirror, giving you full visibility while driving.

Can the foil be cut to the desired size?

Yes, you can use the whole film or cut it to the size you need (e.g. for a car mirror).
