I am an Assistant Professor at the Georgia Tech School of Mathematics. My research centers on the mathematical foundations of machine learning (ML) and its diverse applications in scientific computing and inverse problems. I am a recipient of an NSF CAREER Award and an AFOSR Young Investigator Program (YIP) Award.
Some of my current research interests include:
Structure-preserving ML: theory and applications
Generative modeling
Implicit bias and optimization
Scientific ML (PDEs, dynamical systems, computational fluid dynamics, etc.)
Data-driven structure discovery (conservation law, symmetry, etc.)
Openings
I currently have one postdoctoral position immediately available. Strong candidates interested in mathematical foundations of machine learning, scientific machine learning, or related areas are encouraged to contact me with a CV and a brief statement of research interests.
I am fortunate to already work with an excellent group of PhD students. While I am not actively recruiting new students at the moment, I am always happy to hear from exceptional prospective PhD students from Math, CSE, ML, or related programs.
