Welcome! I am an independent researcher and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Economics at Dalhousie University. My fields of interest are health economics and labour economics.

My research examines policies that impact the middle-aged and elderly population in China, with a focus on health insurance, pension systems, and long-term care. I examine how different forms of coverage shape health and labour outcomes, and my broader interest lies in understanding inequalities and policy design in aging societies.

Alongside my academic work, I am eager to apply my expertise in research, policy analysis, and data-driven evaluation to address real-world challenges in Canada’s economic and social landscape. My goal is to contribute rigorous evidence and policy insights that can improve well-being and inform decision-making.
