Bio

I am currently a ML / Backend engineer at Uber Technologies, Inc. I obtained my Ph.D. candidate in Chemical and Biological Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison. My research thesis is focused on mathematical optimization for large-scale problems, with applications to energy markets and electrical-computing systems. In addition, I am also interested in developing new software for mathematical optimization. I worked as a Givens Associate at the Mathematics and Computer Science Division at Argonne National Laboratory over 2020 summer (advised by Dr. Kibaek Kim), and as a software engineer intern at Uber over 2022 summer.
