Oct. 2017: Paper entitled "Cooperative Adaptive Cruise Control of Connected and Autonomous Vehicles Subject to Input Saturation " authored by Weinan Gao, Fernando Rios-Gutierrez, Weitian Tong, and Lei Chen, received the best paper award of IEEE UEMCON 2017.
Oct. 2017: Paper entitled "Data-Driven Cooperative Adaptive Cruise Control of Buses on the Exclusive Bus Lane of the Lincoln Tunnel Corridor " authored by Weinan Gao, Zhong-Ping Jiang, Kaan Ozbay, and Jingqin Gao is accepted by 2018 TRB Annual Meeting.
Oct. 2017: Paper entitled "Learning-based adaptive optimal tracking control of strict-feedback nonlinear systems," with DOI 10.1109/TNNLS.2017.2761718 authored by Weinan Gao and Zhong-Ping Jiang has been accepted by IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems.

May. 2017: I have successfully past my Ph.D. defense. I am going to be a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, College of Engineering and Information Technology, Georgia Southern University.
