Wei-Cheng Huang | 黃惟晟

About Me

I am a mathematician specializing in number theory, particularly the arithmetic of function fields, Drinfeld modules, Anderson t-modules, and special values of function-field L-series. My research studies the connections among special L-values, periods, logarithms, and t-motivic structures.

From fall 2023 through spring 2026, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Rochester, where I worked with Dr. Dinesh Thakur. I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from Texas A&M University in summer 2023 under the supervision of Dr. Matt Papanikolas and my M.S. in Mathematics from National Tsing Hua University in spring 2017 under the supervision of Dr. Chieh-Yu Chang.

Alongside my research, I have extensive experience teaching undergraduate mathematics as an instructor of record, including courses in calculus and related areas. Here is my CV.
