# About
We Have More In Common is a personal writing and research project focused on civic life, leadership, governance, institutions, and community.
The project grew from a simple observation: many of the challenges facing organizations and communities are not caused by a lack of intelligence or good intentions. More often, they arise from differences in perspective, incomplete information, competing priorities, and the difficulty of making decisions in complex environments.
Through articles, research, and analysis, this site explores questions of governance, transparency, accountability, leadership, trust, and civic engagement.
The work reflects my own views and observations. Readers are encouraged to review source materials, consider alternative perspectives, and draw their own conclusions.
Before we are board members, volunteers, experts, critics, advocates, or leaders, we are human. And despite our differences, we often have more in common than we realize.
