Spring cleaning? Don't forget the fete!

Are you planning a bit of a spring clean in the upcoming school holidays and wondering what items you should be setting aside for the fete? Here's a list of stalls that will be looking for your second hand goodies!

Toy stall - toys in good condition, including puzzles, lego, cars, dolls, soft toys, dress ups - if it's in good enough condition that you'd give it to a friend we'd love to accept it! Please note we cannot accept anything containing button batteries.
White elephant stall - your trash, but could it be someone else's treasure? The white elephant stall is where people go to find a bargain - whether it's a coffee mug to replace the broken one from that most favoured set, through to vases, quality photo frames, used bicycles, or anything else that you might say "hey someone else could use this" we are happy to try and find a new loving owner! Please note we can't accept powered items for insurance reasons.
Books - from kids books to adults fiction, cook books, if it can be read, we'd love to accept it. We can also accept CDs/DVDs at the book stall.
Plants - seedlings, cuttings, succulents, if it looks nice in a pot or a garden we can sell it!

We will be accepting donations for second hand stall items from 3pm on the Friday of fete week, so please set your items aside for now and we will provide more details about how to drop items off closer to the date. Pick a Jar items

We've collected 100 jars already, but are aiming for more than 1,000 jars filled with goodies to sell on fete day. These jars can be filled with lollies, toys, and other nifty items that you think children would like to receive (no joke jars please), then wrapped in whatever paper you have handy and delivered to the school ready for us to sell on the day. We're collecting donations from now right until fete day! Simply drop to your child's classroom or leave in the tubs near the front office.

If you've got some but not all the items for jars - let us know! We might be able to find jars for your items, or wrapping paper for your jars.
