The Traditional Tour includes visits to Amsterdam's elite classical music venues, offering insights into the city's historical music scene including The National Opera House.

Will the tour include stops related to famous Dutch musicians or bands?
While specific stops will vary seasonally, the Traditional Tour focuses on the Netherlands' centuries-old music history, which may encompass sites related to renowned Dutch musicians and especially DJ’s or Producers based on the tour preference.

The Nightlife Tour explores Amsterdam's electronic music heritage, potentially offering insights into the city's underground music culture and network.

Will the tour include live music performances or jam sessions?
The Nightlife Tour features meet-and-greets with musicians or DJs and special access to music venues. This tour guarantees a live music activation while the alternative tour options vary based on the venue, availability, and time of tour.

Will the guide provide recommendations for upcoming concerts or events at the venues?
Our guides are knowledgeable and in touch with the greater pulse of nightlife and events.

Are food and drinks included if we visit music cafes or bars?
Majority of venues have refreshments available. We highly encourage and often require beverage purchases. Every tour will begin with a sit down dinner and libation for the guests that is not included in the ticket purchase.

Yes, the Traditional Tour focuses on Amsterdam's classical music scene and includes visits to elite classical music venues.

What is the maximum group size for a tour?

Are tours affected by weather, and what happens in case of rain?
For detail weather-related policies please see our cancellation policy. Weekly Music Guide reserves the right to cancel a tour with little to no-notice in the best interest and safety of attendees. If a tour continues in inclement weather payment is non-refundabe but can be allocated as a credit if within 12-24 hours advance notice. Can I take photos during the tour?
Yes, photography is allowed during the tour. However, we ask that you be respectful, especially in sensitive areas or when other individuals are present.Are there restroom breaks during the tour.

Depending on the tour's length and route, there may be opportunities for restroom breaks. We recommend using facilities before the tour begins.

Is tipping the guide customary?
While not required, tips are appreciated if you enjoyed the tour and wish to show your gratitude to the guide.

Cancellation Policy for Guided Tours

Most venues discourage hats or baggy clothing indoors. Please wear Comfortable Shoes for walking. We do not hold luggage and discourage large bags.

Whether you're interested in intimate jazz sessions, large-scale electronic music festivals, or

discovering emerging local bands, Amsterdam's dynamic live music scene has something to offer

for every music enthusiast. Each tour outline can be adjusted based on group interests, seasonal

highlights, or partnerships with local artists and institutions. All tour experiences vary based on

partnership availability.

Refunds or rescheduling due to unforeseen events (e.g., severe weather, medical emergencies) will

be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Free Cancellation:

Customers can cancel free of charge up to 72 hours before the scheduled tour.

Partial Refund:

Cancellations made between 24-48 hours before the tour will receive a 50% refund.

No Refund:

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour, or no-shows, are not eligible for a refund.

Rescheduling:

Rescheduling is allowed up to 24 hours before the tour at no additional cost, subject to availability.

Exceptional Circumstances:

In accordance with local COVID-19 mandates and other health factors for tourism we abide by and

make exceptions to matters of this nature.

Premium or Private packages guarantee insurance for all tours with a 20% Non-refundable deposit.

Due to our rescheduling flexibility and ticket trade-in, we do not make any other exceptions,

especially after a no-show.
