Hi, I’m Kat, the founder of WeekEnd Reset. I created the brand for busy individuals like myself who want skincare that works, without overwhelming routines or unnecessary steps. After years of navigating complicated regimens and endless products, I came to a simple realization: less can be more, and skincare should feel like a pause, not a task.

WeekEnd Reset reflects my belief that effective skincare can be both simple and intentional. It’s about creating space, moments of calm that help restore balance, even on the busiest days. Every detail is designed to feel thoughtful, inclusive, and easy to return to.

This brand is rooted in the idea that caring for your skin should be accessible and supportive for all skin types and tones, without excess or pressure. It’s a ritual designed for real lives, where simplicity, consistency, and care matter most.

About This Project

Weekend Reset is a university capstone research project created by Kathleen Geronimo, a Master's student in Digital Media & Global Communication at the University of Niagara Falls (DMGC 699-4: Winter 2026 Capstone).

This project explores how TikTok and Instagram Reels shape consumer trust and perceptions of authenticity for emerging clean-beauty skincare brands in the Greater Toronto Area. The founder narrative, team profiles, and all brand materials are designed as part of academic research examining digital storytelling strategies in influencer-driven beauty marketing.
