Approach either way from B4190. If from Bewdley the road is on the left just before the bend. If from Habberley the road is on the right just after the bend Event will be signposted from the road.

Terrain

A much frequented local beauty spot. A sandstone valley containing open heathland, grassland and birch/oak woodland. The area is brambly in parts. The course will be planned accordingly so if you get brambled you are (probably) doing it wrong.

Course

60 minute score, with controls taken in order worth 10 points. Any time over 60 minutes will be penalized at the rate of 1 point for each 6 seconds or part there of late. Controls can be missed out but any taken out of sequence will not count. For example, 1-2-3- -5-6 scores 50 but 1-2-5-3-6 only scores 40 because 3 was taken out of sequence.

Juniors must be accompanied by a responsible adult

Punching

Electronic Punching using SportIdent. Please bring your SI-Card to registration. SI-Cards may be hired for £1.00, replacement fee £30 if lost.

Safety

Competitors take part at their own risk. Whistle and spare light are compulsory. In case of bad weather competitors may be required to wear (carry) water- and windproof tops (aka cagoules). Competitors are recommended to carry a mobile phone for use in emergencies.
