Gema is an expert in technology security. She is a computer engineer with over 15 years in professional experience. Gema holds various certifications in security (ISO 27001). She has also collaborated in large projects for corporations to strengthen their security both on the strategic and technical levels. Gema has been a leader for projects in ethical hacking, risk, analytics, regulations, compliance and audit systems. Her work goes beyond technology. She has worked in business development, team management and communications. Gema is currently leading multiple corporate social responsibility projects for DiversityRD Global in Latin America.

Nina has earned both her Master in Education and Bachelor Degree in Arts from the University of Toledo. Nina has completed 45 hours of credits coursework for her Doctoral Degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in nonprofit culture and diversity with Northcentral University. She is also the President of American Association of University Women, active member of Association Fundraising Professional and committee member for the Toledo School of Arts Diversity Committee. Currently, Nina holds a tittle of 2016-2017 United Nation Women’s Empower Women Champions for Change recipient working on The Hub Initiatives in Greater Toledo.
Adriana Sandoval works for Chevron as an Information Management Content and Operations Team Lead. In June of 2016 she was the recipient of HACR’s Young Hispanic Corporate Achiever’s Award for accomplishments in career, education and community service over time. She continues to stay involved as a speaker and recruiter at SHPE Regional and National Conferences, HENAAC conferences, and as an Advisor to Bakersfield’s professional SHPE chapter to teach newer generations the value of hard work, determination, sacrifice, and networking to build a support system. When she hears stories from her mentees who have been inspired to return to school or not quit, she realizes she is providing a system of support for others who may not otherwise have one. It is moments like these that inspire her to continue being a STAR of Today.
Aleksandra (Sasha) Byers- Is a United Nations Empower Women Mentor and blogger for EmpowerWomen.org. She is currently an agent with New York Life. Ms. Byers graduated from UF Hough Graduate School of Business and lives in Orlando, Florida.
Lilian Ifemeludike is a UN Empower Women Champion for Change 2016-2017. To further Empower Women's mission, held a highly educating and interactive training event that hosted more than 50 women in Ibadan Oyo State, Nigeria who learned skills such as yogurt making, manufacturing of cleaning agents and baking of cake and pastries – skills that require little capital base to start. The numerous positive impacts of social media and online presence on women, their businesses and brands were also analysed and reiterated. Mentoring efforts were put in place so as to adequately reach the Empower Women Champions anytime they need advisory and direction so as to avoid mistakes and pitfalls in their various endeavors.
Tim Immaculate Bih, is a Civil Engineer by profession, an Entrepreneur, and a UN Women’s Empower Women Global Champion for Change. She is a VV Grow fellow and also a YALI fellow. She is the founder/CEO of Immaculate Construction (ICON) Company and is passionate about reaching infrastructure challenges in Cameroon, and bridging gender gap in engineering. She volunteers and raises awareness on importance of technical education for girls in her community and mentors girls in this profession. She has a track record of successful realization of construction projects for primary and secondary schools, including residential buildings in Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon.

She loves connecting with people, and has always have a passion for fashion, food, discovering new places and finding meaningful experiences in everything she does. Nelly is a businesswoman, wife, and mother of three children. Eleven years ago she moved her dreams from her country to this country that opened its arms and opportunities to her, with the only condition of working hard to build her future.
