This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, and shared for the Wedlist Android mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

## Data We Collect
### Account Information
- Email address, display name, and (if available) profile photo
- Source: Firebase Authentication
- Purpose: Sign-in, account management, and secure association of your data
### User Content
- Wish lists, list items, collaborator/partner info, premium entitlements (e.g., remove ads, collaboration unlock)
- Source: Firebase Cloud Firestore
- Purpose: Provide core App functionality and synchronization
### Purchase Information
- Product IDs (e.g., `com.wedlist.remove_ads`, `com.wedlist.collab_unlock`), purchase token/receipt, purchase status
- Source: Google Play Billing (in_app_purchase)
- Purpose: Process purchases, verify, grant, and restore entitlements
### Advertising Data and Identifiers
- Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID), approximate location derived from IP, ad impression/interaction metrics
- Source: Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob)
- Purpose: Serve ads, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and reporting
- Note: The App does not collect precise or sensitive location; ad partners may infer coarse location from IP.
### Device and Technical Data
- Device model, OS version, app version, language/region, and similar technical signals (mostly via SDKs)
- Purpose: Security, performance, and compatibility of the App
Note: The App currently does not use a separate crash analytics tool (e.g., Crashlytics). If added in the future, this Policy will be updated.
## How We Use Data
- Provide and improve the App and its services
- Account management and synchronization
- Process in-app purchases, verify, grant, and restore entitlements
- Show ads and measure ad performance
- Prevent fraud/abuse and ensure security
- Comply with legal obligations
## Sharing and Third Parties
- Firebase (Google) — authentication and data hosting
- Google Play Billing — purchase processing and verification
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) — ad serving and measurement
These providers may process data in the U.S. and other countries. Their own privacy policies apply.
## Retention
- Account and lists: Kept while your account remains active; deleted within a reasonable period after a deletion request
- Purchase records: Retained for reasonable periods to meet legal and accounting obligations
- Ad logs: Retained for limited periods in accordance with partners' policies
## Your Rights and Choices
- Access/Rectification/Deletion: Contact us by email to request access to or deletion of your data
- Ad Personalization: You can reset your Advertising ID and limit personalized ads from device settings. In EEA regions, a consent dialog (UMP) may be shown when required.
- Signing out/deleting your account stops further processing except where retention is required by law.
## Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users 18+. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
## Security
We use appropriate technical and administrative measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we strive to maintain a reasonable level of security.
## International Transfers
Data may be transferred to countries where our providers operate. Such transfers are made in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
## Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be notified in the App or on this page.
