I am registered with the Irish government to perform legal marriage ceremonies. I can include religious and/or non-religious content.I travel all over Ireland to perform ceremonies and my work is known countrywide by many popular leading wedding venues large and small, such as Dromoland Castle in County Clare, The Connemara Coast Hotel, County Galway, Bloomfield House, County Westmeath, The Harbour Hotel, Galway City, The Meryk, Galway City, Langton House Hotel, Killenny, Delphi Resort, Connemara. I can officiate ceremonies every day of the week, including weekends and public holidays. I welcome same sex couples and have a policy promoting diversity and inclusion.
My ceremonies can include many special features drawn from Irish tradition and culture such as The Unity Candle, Celtic Handfasting and The Sand Ceremony, and from traditions around the world. Or you can have a very simple, short ceremony.
All the ceremonies include a personalised ministers address, you can either create your own vows or choose from selections I provide. I provide a selection of readings and vows for you to choose from, or you may add your own. There is a lot of flexibility regarding the ceremony length and all these ceremony types can be adjusted time wise by having less/shorter readings etc, the length of the ceremony does not affect the price.
I have organized my ceremonies into different price ranges to suit individual wedding budgets. You can then choose the amount of personalisation you would like in your ceremony.
You have a choice of three fees for ceremonies. The process reflect the amount of personal content and input from myself and the couple:
450 euros, my standard ceremony of about 15 minutes,
550 euros, my standard ceremony plus one additional feature, such as aUnity Candle, Celtic Handfasting or Sand Ceremony about 25 minutes (depending on your choice of readings, music wtc)
650 euros Bespoke personally tailored ceremony with consultations via phone or Skype etc. This can include additional features (many people have up to 6 additional features) the content and wording will be completely your choice with me providing options and guidance, timing is around 40 to 50 minutes.
There is a lot of flexibility regarding the ceremony length and all these ceremony types can be adjusted time wise by having less/shorter readings etc, the length of the ceremony does not affect the price.
All the ceremonies are created from a set of carefully chosen questions which I call Reflective Questions. You and your fiance would answer these, so that I can get a very comprehensive view of your ideas (it’s also OK if you start out without many ideas) and some basic information about you both, how you met etc which helps me with the personalized ministers’ address for example. The questions are the backbone of the whole process, they give us all a starting point. Most couples find these questions interesting and enjoyable to go through together.
To start the process a deposit of 150 euros is requested.
