Zoom Application:
Download and install the latest version of the Zoom application on your device.
If you already have Zoom installed, make sure it's updated to the latest version.
Audio Setup:
Test your audio settings to ensure your microphone and speakers are functioning properly.
Connect a headset or earphones with a microphone for better audio quality and reduced background noise.
Video Setup:
Test your video settings to ensure your camera is working correctly.
Make sure the camera is positioned at a suitable angle and that you are well-lit and clearly visible on screen.
Internet Connection:
Connect to a stable and high-speed internet connection for optimal audio and video quality.
Close any unnecessary applications or browser tabs that might consume bandwidth during the meeting.
Meeting Link:
Keep the meeting link readily accessible, either through the confirmation email or calendar invitation.
If required, save the meeting link to your Zoom account for quick access.
Meeting Schedule:
Be aware of the meeting schedule, including the date, start time, and duration.
Set a reminder for yourself to join the meeting a few minutes before the scheduled start time.
Meeting Etiquette:
Familiarize yourself with proper meeting etiquette, including muting your microphone when not speaking, raising your hand to ask questions, and being respectful to fellow participants.
Note-Taking and Materials:
Have a notepad and pen handy to jot down important points or questions during the meeting.
If the meeting organizer has shared any pre-meeting materials or slides, ensure they are accessible on your device.
Troubleshooting:
In case you encounter any technical difficulties during the meeting, refer to the Zoom Help Center or contact the meeting host for assistance.
