## Getting Started
### Step 1 — Grant Accessibility Permission
SwiftClick requires Accessibility permission to simulate mouse clicks and listen for global hotkeys. On first launch, the app will guide you through the setup automatically.
To grant permission manually:
1. Open **System Settings**
2. Go to **Privacy & Security → Accessibility**
3. Click the lock icon to unlock
4. Find **SwiftClick** and enable the toggle
5. Restart the app
### Step 2 — Configure Your Click Settings
Click the SwiftClick icon in the menu bar to open the control panel. From there you can set:
- **Click interval** — 1ms and above, in ms / seconds / minutes / hours
- **Mouse button** — left, right, or middle
- **Click type** — single or double click
- **Click position** — current cursor position or a fixed screen coordinate
### Step 3 — Start Clicking
Press the **Start** button in the panel, or use the global hotkey (default: **F8**) to start and stop from any app. Press **ESC** at any time for an immediate emergency stop.

## Frequently Asked Questions
**Q: Clicks aren't registering. What's wrong?**
SwiftClick requires Accessibility permission to function. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility and make sure SwiftClick is enabled. If it's already listed, try removing it and re-adding it, then restart the app.
---
**Q: My global hotkey isn't working.**
First confirm that Accessibility permission is granted. Then check whether the hotkey conflicts with a system shortcut or another app. You can set a new hotkey by clicking the hotkey button in the panel and pressing your preferred key combination.
---
**Q: How do I stop the clicker immediately?**
Press the **ESC** key at any time. This is a built-in safety mechanism that cannot be disabled and will always stop all clicking instantly.
---
**Q: Can I click at a fixed position on the screen?**
Yes. In the control panel, switch the click position mode to **Fixed Coordinate**, then use the coordinate picker to click anywhere on screen and capture that position automatically.
---
**Q: How do I change the language?**
Open the Settings panel inside the app, select **Interface Language**, choose your preferred language, and restart the app. You can also set it to **Follow System** to automatically match your macOS language.
---
**Q: Does SwiftClick use a lot of system resources?**
No. SwiftClick is built natively in Swift and is extremely lightweight. Even at the fastest click interval (1ms), CPU usage remains below 5%.
---
**Q: The click position seems off when using multiple monitors.**
Make sure you are running version 1.1.0 or later. A coordinate offset issue on multi-display setups was fixed in an earlier update.
