The main goal of this workshop is to bring together researchers from not only web science community but diverse fields of science who are leveraging web data or web-based technologies to build human-centric solutions for real-world problems as well as foster collaborations in this space. We invite a wide variety of web science research approaches and methodologies to not only understand human-genAI interactions but also behaviors of humans and genAI that are complementing and contradicting with each other. The focus of this workshop is to encourage submission of research works highlighting interdisciplinary insights from computational social science, web science, digital humanities, and social sciences to help identify the benefits and challenges of human-genAI interactions and collaborations in web science. We invite papers, and demos on different aspects of efficiency, innovation, scalability and accessibility in the context of human-genAI interactions.
We are expecting to host a keynote speaker and invite research papers to select high quality works for presentations. If your work fits these descriptions, please consider submitting to this workshop!
Please note that the papers from this workshop will be published as part of the companion proceedings (which is distinct from the main conference proceedings).
Submission System: Submissions should be made on Easychair https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=webscihgenai2025
