Task

There are certain conditions that you have to bear in mind before you start planning.

  • You can only take your holiday between May and September.
  • You have NT$60,000 to spend.
  • You would like to stay for at least a week.

With these in mind, in your group, you should consider the following questions. You can use the links listed on the resources page to help you.

1. When will you go?

You should bear in mind that the price of flights depends on the season and that some events only happen at certain times. For example, if you want to see the Edinburgh Festival you have to be there in August.

2. How will you get there?

You can fly to a number of different airports in Britain. If you fly to a city other than Edinburgh you will have to organize transport from there to the city.

3. Where will you stay?

There are many different standards of accommodation ranging in cost from five star hotels to hostels. You need to decide how much luxury you want or can afford.

4. What will you do?

The most important question! There are so many things to do it can be hard to decide. It might help to work out what kind of things you are interested in before you start.

5. Presentation

At the end of this project you should have two things: your itinerary and your budget (no cheating!). You will also have to give a class presentation outlining your trip and explaining why you made the decisions that you have.

Good luck and happy travels!
