I CHANGED MY NAME ON THE MAIN WEBSITE BUT MY NAME DOESN’T CHANGE ON THE FORUMS. WHY?
You can change your website name as many times as you want, however, your forum name can only be set once, at the beginning. If you’re really desperate to have your forum name changed, you can always ping someone from the tech team.
You should now be able to change your name on the forum by changing your name on the main website.
WHY CAN’T I EDIT MY FORUM POSTS?
If someone has posted after your post, on the same thread, you will no longer be able to delete or edit your post. This is probably to ensure that every conversation makes sense, instead of people editing their messages to make everyone else look strange. If you double post, then delete the second post, you will still not be able edit your post. The same applies with making a thread. If someone says something on it, even if it is later deleted, you will no longer be able to delete it or change the title.
HOW DO I ADD AN IMAGE IN MY FORUM POST?
You can’t directly upload your image to a forum post. Instead, you’ll have to upload your image to an image hosting website and get the direct image link. Using the `` format, you can then add your image. The ‘AltText’ bit will appear if a user cannot see the image.
Although Imgur has been recommended, the service is banned in several countries. To make it more accessible to everyone, you can either use your Google Drive/Photos or use https://pasteboard.co/
If you find an image on the internet you wish to use, you can use the direct image link of that as well.
