JAMI CARLACIO, EUA

Jami Carlacio é doutorada, e neste momento, encontra-se a completar o Mestrado em Divinity na Universidade de Yale sobre o discernimento das Ordens Dininas na Igreja Episcopal.

É professora universitária e do colégio veterano há 25 anos, tendo trabalhado com uma variedade de populações de estudantes desde as mais priviligiadas até às mais marginalizadas e tem vindo a testemunhar em primeira-mão o impacto do stress e racismo estrutural no bem-estar mental, físico, e espiritual dos estudantes.

Tem vindo a publicar vários artigos e capítulos de livros sobre o activismo pela justiça social das mulheres negras e é a editora do livro intitulado "Activism in the Name of God: Religion and Black Feminist Public Intellectuals from the 19^th to the 21^st Century", que será publicado pela University of Mississipi Press.

Jami Carlacio is completing a Master of Divinity degree at Yale Divinity School and is in discernment for Holy Orders in the Episcopal Church.

A veteran college and university professor for 25 years, she has worked with a variety of student populations from the privileged to the marginalized and has witnessed first-hand the impact of stress and structural racism on students’ mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.

She has published articles and book chapters on Black women’s social justice activism and is the editor of the book entitled Activism in the Name of God: Religion and Black Feminist Public Intellectuals from the 19^th to the 21^st Century, to be published by University of Mississippi Press.

PINA LALLI, ITÁLIA

Pina Lalli é professora catedrática de Sociologia e Comunicação na Universidade de Bolonha, Departamento de Política e Ciências Sociais, onde dirige o CoMediaS, Centro de Investigação sobre as Esferas Públicas (https://centri.unibo.it/comedias/it).

Os seus interesses de investigação centram-se nas representações sociais nos media e na vida quotidiana. As suas três mais recentes investigações são as seguintes: 1) Catch-EyoU, Horizon 2020 project concerning the youth citizenship in Europe, where she directed the analysis of the media landscape (http://www.catcheyou.eu/); 2) Research Observatory on the Femicide in the public discourse (https://site.unibo.it/osservatorio-femminicidio/en); 3) the co-creation of a serious video-game for the students of high schools promoting safety and health in the workplace (https://site.unibo.it/sicuri-si-diventa/it).

Pina Lalli is a full professor of sociology of communication at the Universisty of Bologna, Department of Political and Social Sciences, where she heads up CoMediaS, a research center on communication in the public sphere (https://centri.unibo.it/comedias/it).

Her research interests are concerned with social representations in media and in everyday life. ISABEL ESTRELA REGO, PORTUGAL

Isabel Estrela Rego tem um B.A. em Psicologia pela Northeastern University, um M.A. em Psicologia do Aconselhamento pelo Boston College e um Doutoramento em Psicologia da Educação pela Universidade dos Açores.

É Professora Associada do Departamento de Psicologia da Universidade dos Açores onde tem lecionado psicologia social, comunitária, do desenvolvimento e ambiental. Foi membro do Centro de Investigação da Biodiversidade e Recursos Genéticos (CIBIO - Grupo Açores) até outubro de 2013 e posteriormente ingressou no Instituto de Investigação em Vulcanologia e Avaliação de Riscos (IVAR).

Os seus interesses de investigação incluem perceção e comunicação de risco, preparação para desastres, atitudes pró-ambientais, comportamento sustentável, desenvolvimento comunitário e relações pessoa-lugar.

Isabel Estrela Rego has a B.A. in Psychology from Northeastern University, an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Boston College, and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of the Azores.

She is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology, at the University of Azores where she has been teaching social, community, developmental, and environmental psychology. She was a member of the Research Centre for Biodiversity and Genetic Resources (CIBIO – Azores Group) until October of 2013 and has afterwards joined the Research Institute for Volcanology and Risk Assessment (IVAR).

Her research interests include risk perception and communication, disaster preparedness, pro-environmental attitudes, sustainable behavior, community development and person-place relationships.
