This Privacy Policy explains how Lovibe ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Lovibe mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

• Account details: name, email address, and password when you register

• Profile information you optionally add to your account

• App projects, prompts, and content you create within Lovibe 

• Payment information (processed securely via Stripe — we do not store card details)

• Communications you send to our support team

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device information: device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers

• Usage data: features used, prompts submitted, session duration, and in-app actions

• Log data: IP address, browser/app version, timestamps, and error reports

• Crash reports and performance data to improve app stability

1.3 Information from Third Parties

• If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive basic profile information (name, email, profile photo) from those services

• Analytics data from Apple and third-party analytics providers

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your Lovibe account

• Generate, store, and deploy the apps and projects you build

• Process payments and manage your subscription

• Improve, personalise, and develop the App and its features

• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, billing receipts)

• Send product updates and announcements (you may opt out at any time)

• Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues

• Ensure the security of the App and prevent fraud or abuse

• Comply with applicable legal obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

3.1 Service Providers

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the App, including:

• Stripe — payment processing

• Supabase — database and backend infrastructure

• GitHub — optional code repository sync

• Apple — app distribution and in-app purchase processing

• Analytics providers — aggregated, anonymised usage data

These providers are contractually bound to use your data only to provide services to us.

3.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lovibe , our users, or the public.

3.3 Business Transfers

If Lovibe is acquired, merged, or undergoes a change of ownership, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard technical and organisational safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, and access controls.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the App's services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or regulatory purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

• Correction: request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data

• Deletion: request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")

• Portability: request your data in a structured, machine-readable format

• Objection: object to certain processing activities (e.g. marketing)

• Withdrawal of consent: withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

7. Children's Privacy

Lovibe is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services (e.g. GitHub, Stripe). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. By using Lovibe , you consent to the transfer of your data to countries that may have different data protection laws. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notification at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the App after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
