Assignment 1-Review Vocabulary
Students should review the vocabulary that will be covered throughout the unit to ensure that they understand the definitions.
Assignment 1-Group Project-Making Maps
Students are working in groups of 3 to create maps. Each group is responsible for creating their own map of the triangle trade, as well as a map that they create of a fictional place that they create. Each fictional map must be of a place that the group creates, not a fictional place someone else has created. This means no Hogwarts, Skyrim, Lord of the Rings, or other fictional maps may be turned in. All maps are due in 2 weeks, on Monday April 3rd. Students will be given limited class time to work on this project and thus must work on it outside of class as well.
Assignment 1-Research
Students are doing a group research project on how triangle trade led Europe, Asia, and the Americas to be economically independent. Their homework is to continue research for this project.
Assignment 2-Completing Presentations
Students will be doing a presentation in class over their research project. Students should work with their group outside of class time if necessary to complete the visual aspect of their presentations. These presentations will occur on Friday, April 7th.
Assignment 1-complete assignments
Students were given class time to complete a series of assignments. Any assignment that was not finished in class is considered homework.
Assignment 1- research project
Students will be creating presentations to present to the public about Economic Interdependence and how it affects us. Students will be given class time to complete assignments but also need to work outside of class to create excellent presentations with visual aids.
Assignment 2-Study for Exam
Students should study for the Final Exam that will be Monday, May 24th.
