Webb Bridge Middle Library Media Center
Welcome, Jaguars, to our Space for Readers, Learners, and Makers!
Ms. Nan Brown (Media Specialist, or METI) and Mrs. Beena Shah (Media Paraprofessional) welcome you to the WBMS Library Media Center and MakerSpace! The physical media center opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m. each school day, but many of our resources are always accessible online. Students visit with passes from teachers during the day with hand sanitization before browsing our shelves. Watch the short video below for navigation information, search for a book in Destiny Discover, or see our latest news on Twitter!

May Celebrations
Celebrations in May include Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Mental Health Awareness Month, Public Library Card Signups, and Slide into Summer Reading!
APRIL CELEBRATIONS
April's focus in our media center is School Library Month; we will also join April's celebrations of Poetry, Autism Awareness, Humor, and Volunteers. We start out the month with April Fool's Day and announcements of our winners of WBMS March Reading Madness! See our Spring Break Choice Board of activities for both travel and stay-cations!
Throughout the month, we will focus on what libraries provide, great books for reading and listening, and simple maker activities. Destiny Collections will feature books with library settings, humor, poetry (and books in verse), characters with autism, and volunteerism. Our Student Library STREAM Council is planning several activities and reading options. Stay tuned for updates throughout April!
Combining School Library Month and Volunteerism Month, our WBMS Student Library STREAM Council is sponsoring a Share Your Love of Reading Donation Drive for our WBMS community!
Families are encouraged to donate gently used books from students' elementary years. Other options to support the effort are to contribute by credit or debit card to a fund to purchase books or purchase specific titles from "WBMS Angels" wish list created by our partner school, Hapeville Elementary!
Students may be recognized for their donations in a random drawing of opportunities such as having lunch with Ms. Williams, APs, counselors, and teachers or in the media center or outside with a friend. Signed book copies or posters are also options! A form to report their donation is here. Drawings will be held on April 23rd and 30th.
Whether you travel or stay-cation over spring break, or beyond, find a choice on our virtual board that interests you!
