About The Jazzers

Luke Gulson plays the drum set, and is an avid percussionist in the Lake Forest High School band & jazz band.

Jonny Kilmer is an avid trombonist and pianist, and is a member of the Lake Forest High School band. He also is the photographer of the band.

Charlotte Moore loves photography and playing the bass (and piano), and she is a member of the Science Olympiad club at Lake Forest High School. She plays bass in the Lake Forest High School orchestra.

Katie Pierce plays piano, among other instruments, and she is a member of the Lake Forest High School glee club & band. She also writes and performs her own music.

Mark Smirnov plays trumpet and piano, and is a member of the Lake Forest High School band & jazz band.

Alex Banta enjoys playing jazz vibes, was a member of the band and was an active participant in the Scholastic Bowl at Lake Forest High School. He now studies computer science at Northwestern University.

Matthew LeMay plays clarinet, and he enjoyed participating in band and the Science Olympiad club at Lake Forest High School. He was also a member of the swim team. He is a student at Harvey Mudd College in California.
