Weapon stripping is a complete weapons simulator in which you can disassemble and assemble virtually any weapon in the world with a high level of detail. This includes rocket launchers, heavy machine guns, light machine guns, assault rifles, rifles, pistols, and revolvers. Among the weapons included in Weapon stripping, you'll find M4A1, AK47, Desert Eagle, M9 Beretta, RPG-7, M249, IMI Uzi, MP-40, Thompson M1928, and many more. As you'll see, you can select any weapon from the 20th and 21st centuries, including those most commonly used in war.

After selecting a weapon, you can see all kinds of data, such as its full name, caliber of bullets, years of service, designer, weight, magazine size, dimensions, rate of fire, effective range, attachable sights, and much more.

You can also practice disassembling and assembling it either with a stopwatch or in free mode without time restrictions. There, you can activate the X-ray mode to visualize the inside of the weapon and watch the way its parts move in slow motion. Thanks to this, you can see how the weapon operates after the trigger is pulled.

Any build is effectively harmless once their weapons are destroyed, but this is especially true for heavy tanks. I don't think there's a single person who continues to enjoy the match once they've lost their weapons vs opponents who can still both move & shoot. The first step to fixing the game is to remove the most frustrating parts of it, starting w/ the degun meta. Balancing can be done after that (pretend any numbers or interpretation to be your definition of "perfect").

Now that guns can't be directly destroyed, there should still be a consequence for them taking damage. At the bare minimum, a portion of all dmg taken by any weapon should deal dmg to the cabin. Perhaps heavier weapons carry over less dmg.

Moreover, each weapon would now have a dmg threshold (DT - instead of HP) where they temporarily "malfunction", which can result in massive loss in accuracy, increased overheating, misfires, slower reloads, siezed/slowed turning of the weapon, etc. This DT will be considerably lower than current HP values, to make up for the fact that weapons can no longer be directly destroyed. Some weapons may suffer any mix of these (including any other viable penalties u might think of) at varying degrees & duration, but the point is that it's still beneficial to shoot at an opponent's weapons despite no longer being able to disarm them.

While some may think that this makes the Averter/Omamori modules useless, I think they'll remain just as useful since keeping your weapons from malfunctioning as frequently can still turn the tide of battle (as well as further reducing the dmg your cabin takes directly).

Obviously, some perks would have to be changed so as to be compatible w/ this new system. Perhaps the Machinist perk could instead either increase the dmg threshold of mounted weapons or reduce the duration/severity of malfunction, for example.

Turret weapons would also be free to have full motion & no longer be required to be heavily bunkered just to see some action. Many art builds would then become actually viable in combat, too, which is always a plus.

As for those who believe their precious Scorpions will become useless, they could probably take advantage of the cabin dmg carryover from hitting enemy weapons & double-dip if they line it up w/ their cabin (or another weapon).

Edit: To keep from repeating myself across many comments, let me clarify one thing: this suggestion does not make current meta builds any worse cuz their guns are already very difficult to strip. What it does do, however, is prevent gun-stripping builds from dominating so one-sidedly & force them to actually fight their target to the death. They'll still be effective at at keeping their own guns from malfunctioning too often, ofc, but there will no longer be free meals.

Another suggestion brought up by u/YogiGotRekt is to have weapons pass on dmg to the cabin after depleting their dmg threshold, kind of like the Omamori. Perhaps this could be an alternative to simply always passing on a certain amount of dmg to the cabin all the time, or the 2 could be combined. I'd leave the exact mechanics up to the devs to decide, but it's ok to pretend it's just your own "ideal" for the sake of the primary purpose of the argument.

I want to know what the best weapons are for stripping both armour AND weapons at medium-long range; I currently use 2 hulks on a speed build and would like to know if there are better guns out there that have a higher damage output?
