Profile Information: Your Name, Email Address, Phone Number (collected via secure Google Sign-In or SMS Authentication), Profile Photo, District, School Name, and Class Level.
Educational Progress Data: Your test scores, mock test attempts, time taken per test, bookmarked questions, flagged doubts, and total active sessions.
Device & System Data: Basic device information, OS version, and crash logs collected automatically by our backend infrastructure to ensure app stability and performance.
3. How We Use Your Information We use the information we collect strictly to operate the app:
To create, authenticate, and manage your student account.
To save your test progress so you can resume learning across different devices.
To tailor the educational content (papers and worksheets) to your specific Class and District.
To provide teachers and administrators with aggregate insights into student performance.
To prevent fraudulent activity, such as account sharing abuse.
4. Third-Party Services We Use Your data is not kept on personal servers; we use enterprise-grade cloud providers to ensure maximum security. The app utilizes:
Google Firebase Authentication: To securely handle your login (Google Accounts and SMS OTPs).
Google Cloud Firestore: To securely store your profile and educational progress data.
Cloudflare: To quickly and securely deliver our question banks and study materials to your device.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third parties. Your information is only shared with the third-party infrastructure providers listed above strictly for the purpose of operating the app.
6. Data Security We implement robust security measures to protect your data. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS, and all data stored in our databases is encrypted at rest by Google Cloud.
7. Data Retention and Account Deletion You have full ownership of your data. If you no longer wish to use We Do Math, you can permanently delete your account at any time.
How to delete: Open the app, navigate to the Progress Tab > Settings, and tap Delete My Account. Alternatively, you can request full account and data deletion by emailing us directly at: ishareacademic@gmail.com.Â
What happens: Your Google Authentication account and your primary user profile data will be immediately and permanently deleted from our active database. (Note: Anonymous, non-identifiable system analytics logs may be retained for platform maintenance).
8. Children's Privacy While our app is designed for educational purposes (SEBA Class 8-10), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately so we can delete the account.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update this policy as we add new features to the app. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
