REGISTRATION FOR 2024-2025 COMPETITIVE DANCE TEAM: CLOSED
CHECK BACK IN SPRING 2025
This is a HIGH level commitment team who has practices 3-4 times per week, competitions on weekends, team dinners, parties, etc. All members of the competition team must also participate in the school based team. You do NOT need to register separately. This season runs from May-February.
Fill out the team application to be added onto the email communication list and register for tryouts.
What will tryouts look like?
During the choreo clinics you will learn a short pom routine, a set of kicks, and basic skills. Each dancer will be grouped with 2 other dancers and assigned a time slot for their final audition on Friday. Dancers should all arrive ready by 4:30pm on Friday May 31st. Dancers may stay after school to get ready, or go home and come back by 4:30pm. Slots will be every 10/15 min. You will do all the required skills, optional skills/tumbling and perform both routines for a panel of 4-5 judges. After your audition, you are free to leave. Other dancers are not allowed to watch auditions... the only people in the gym will be the Coaches, the group auditioning and the panel of judges.

How many people will you take on the competition team?
There is no set number. We will go based on however many dancers show potential. Typically, there is a large break in scores from the judges panel.
What if I do not make the competition team and am placed on the school team only?
We will give you the option to accept or decline. The school based team is great for new dancers or dancers who are new to our specific style.
