This theme was selected as the camp theme by the Regional Youth Council (RYC), an elected group of campers who help plan the camp experience each summer.
Their concept:
"How can to use your faith to get through difficult times (fire). To connect with stories in the bible where people are going through tough situations, experiences, and how God gets them through. To learn how to cope in difficult times. To understand that fire can be good or bad - sometimes we need to go through fire to grow. How can we utilize fire to improve our reactions?"
The program leaders will be selected soon! In the meantime, a recent program leader, Kristin, is pictured here... with a felt ball stuck to her Velcro hat.
