I looked through the internet for the issue and came upon similar problems that had been solved by "load driver" option during installation by introducing a proper driver so that Windows 10 setup detects disk mounted on device. Therefore, this led me to incompatibility issue. Windows 10 installation ISO file that I prepared on flash drive through Rufus is earlier version of Windows 10, but the SSD on my laptop is up-to-date. For that reason Windows 10 installation fails to detect the SSD.

I solved this by following the "load driver" approach. I formatted a USB flash drive as FAT32 (NTFS would probably work just as well), downloaded the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver (IRST) from intel.com, specifically one labeled "floppy driver", and extracted the zip file onto the USB drive. I inserted the drive at the Windows setup drive selection screen (no restart required), and clicked Load Driver, then selected the folder on the USB drive.

I'll note that some comments on the web suggested getting the driver from the manufacturer's site (ASUS in my case), but the Intel driver worked just as well for me. I found the Intel driver by going to their main driver page > Memory and Storage > Which type? > Client SSDs, and picked the driver for 11th Gen, since this laptop has a Core i3 1115G4 (11th Gen).

Hello everyone! I bought the laptop about a week ago and I still can't handle the issue. When I try to install Windows on PCI-E NVME SSD WDC PC SN530 SDBPNPZ-256G whic is located in my laptop I get "We couldn't find any drivers. To get a storage driver click load driver". So I looked it up at the official web site and couldn't find neither drivers nor even my laptop there. I've tried bunch of Windows 10 builds from 1703 to 20H2 and I tried to integrate various kinds of drivers from INTEL RST using NTLite but without success. What drivers are required for installing Windows on my laptop?

You just need to unzip the folder to the root of your installation media and select the driver manually from the folder by unchecking the "show incompatible drivers" checkbox beforehand. After that, you will have a disk, through diskpart you can perform all the necessary actions for the subsequent installation of the system. I will add keywords for people who are trying to solve a similar problem.

Western Digital NVMe Driver is a free utility program made by Western Digital for PC devices. It contains the essential drivers needed to recognize NVMe-based Solid State Drives storage solutions offered by the company. It ensures that they can be used and function as they should.

Western Digital NVMe Driver functions similarly to Samsung Magician Tool or ADATA SSD Toolbox in that it also contains the necessary drivers for Western Digital-branded SSDs to work properly. It will help computers recognize these types of SSDs if they are unable to before.

Modern operating systems today have built-in functions that help you search and download the drivers needed to operate these storage drives. However, there will be instances when your PC will be unable to recognize your device. This is where Western Digital NVMe Driver comes in to provide the appropriate drivers to address this issue. After downloading, simply run the installer, and it will do the rest for you.

When attempting to install windows the drives were not showing up as an option. I went to the motherboards website and Intel to grab every single Intel RST VMD driver package. I put them all on a separate USB. (Download and extract them to the USB)

I downloaded that, extracted it on to the USB, and plugged it in. Ran the windows install, hit load driver, and POOF now it shows a compatible driver. I loaded the driver and now all my drives showed up.

Glametrix-0563 THANK YOU SO MUCH

you taking the time to shar your findings was very helpful.

THanks!

I have the same issue with ASUS vivobook 14.

The windows installer can't see SSD wds pc sn530 sdbpnpz-256G-1002

I tried to do it -Rapid-Storage-Technology-Driver-Installation-Software-with-Intel-Optane-Memory but it didn't help.

I found there is a similar issue with yours on dell website, the issue was resolved after switched to AHCI. Please check if it works on your side.

Win10 Installation: "We couldn't find any drives. To get a storage driver, click Load driver."

And Steven is correct, you don't need drivers for the WD, even though you have an Eduro and not a Nitro. What makes you think you do need drivers? Are you trying to install Windows from scratch on the new drive rather than cloning the old drive to the new one? ff782bc1db
