Privacy Policy for Weekly Diary

Effective Date: July 23, 2026
Last Updated: July 23, 2026

Weekly Diary is developed and provided by Ivan Poluboiarynov (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Weekly Diary mobile application (“Weekly Diary” or the “App”).

1. Information Stored in Weekly Diary

Weekly Diary allows you to create and manage information such as:

This information is stored locally on your device.

We do not operate a server that receives or stores your diary entries, tasks, notes, or other content created inside the App.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Weekly Diary does not collect or transmit the following information to us:

The App does not require you to create an account or sign in.

3. Advertising and Tracking

Weekly Diary does not display third-party advertising.

We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes.

Weekly Diary does not use the AppTrackingTransparency framework because the App does not perform cross-app or cross-website tracking.

4. Local Storage and Device Backups

Information created in Weekly Diary is stored within the App’s private storage area on your device.

Depending on your device settings, Apple may include the App and its locally stored data in an iCloud or device backup. Such backups are provided and controlled by Apple, not by us. We do not have access to your Apple Account, iCloud account, or device backups.

You can manage your backup settings through your device’s Apple Account and iCloud settings.

5. Notifications

Weekly Diary may offer local reminders or notifications if you enable them.

Notification permission is controlled through your device settings. Local notification information is processed by your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

You can disable notifications at any time through:

Settings → Notifications → Weekly Diary

6. Deleting Your Information

You can delete individual tasks, notes, categories, or other content from within the App.

You can remove locally stored Weekly Diary information by deleting the App from your device. Copies may remain in an Apple-managed device or iCloud backup until that backup is deleted or replaced according to your Apple backup settings.

Because we do not receive or store your Weekly Diary content on our servers, we cannot access, restore, export, or remotely delete that content.

7. Information Provided When Contacting Support

When you contact us by email, we may receive:

We use this information only to respond to your request, investigate technical issues, protect the App, or comply with applicable legal obligations.

Support communications are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request and maintain appropriate business records.

Please do not include sensitive personal information, passwords, financial information, medical information, or private diary content in support messages.

8. Third-Party Services

Weekly Diary does not currently integrate third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking services.

The App is downloaded and distributed through Apple’s App Store. Apple may independently process information related to App Store downloads, purchases, device operation, backups, and Apple services according to Apple’s own terms and privacy policies.

We do not control information collected directly by Apple.

9. Data Security

We use the security and sandboxing features provided by iOS to help protect information stored by Weekly Diary on your device.

The security of locally stored information also depends on your device security settings. We recommend using a device passcode, Face ID or Touch ID where available, and keeping your operating system updated.

No storage or security method can guarantee absolute protection.

10. Children’s Privacy

Weekly Diary is a general productivity application and is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not require an account and does not transmit diary content to us, we do not knowingly maintain personal information belonging to children on our servers.

A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information to us through a support request may contact us to request its deletion.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to personal information held by us, including rights to request access, correction, or deletion.

Weekly Diary content stored only on your device is not accessible to us. You can manage or delete that content directly through the App or by deleting the App.

For information you provided directly through a support communication, you may contact us using the email address below.

12. International Users

Weekly Diary is available to users in multiple countries and regions.

Because the App’s primary information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us, we generally do not transfer your diary content between countries.

Support communications may be processed in the country where we operate or where our email service providers maintain their systems.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Weekly Diary’s features, data practices, or legal obligations change.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the beginning of this policy. Material changes may also be communicated through the App, its App Store listing, or our website where appropriate.

Continued use of Weekly Diary after an updated policy becomes effective means that the updated policy applies to your subsequent use of the App.
