March 28th is No Kings Day (Again!) and this time WCU AAUP is getting involved. If you are a member, potential member, or community supporter, you are a key voice in making it known that we oppose the government's acts of violence against members of our community. It is our goal to have folks representing WCU AAUP in the Sylva, Waynesville, and Asheville protests, but if there is a protest closer to home, participate locally! Wherever you go, be sure to include WCU AAUP on your signage and/or wear your AAUP t-shirt so that everyone knows that WCU AAUP says "No Kings". Be sure to take pictures of your involvement! After the protest, let us know you went so that we can put our impact in a future newsletter.Â
We want to get an idea of how many WCU AAUP members, potential members, and community supporters protested, so please, send this form to anyone that you brought with you to the protest to represent WCU AAUP.
