IMPORTANT CONTRACT NEWS

By now we assume that you all have learned that our meetings for Tuesday, October 23rd and Thursday, October 25th have been cancelled. By no means was the District in any way responsible for this delay. In fact, everything that we have agreed to is most definitely still intact. Late today we received notice from our Labor Relations Specialist that there were a few minor details in the wording that required more fine tuning to protect our members.

Dan Lively has been in contact with Roy Reese already and he is in the process of setting up the necessary meetings to resolve any issues and Mr. Reese has assured us that he wants to resolve these minor issues and move forward as soon as possible.

Please note that the $460.00 off contract payment will be in your October 31, 2018 paycheck.

Also, the amount of gossip and misinformation that is currently going on throughout the district is only hurting us, please stop this immediately. We and the District have worked in a respectful manner to come to a fair and equitable contract and these rumors only work to undermine all the hard work that both parties have put into this.

We will notify you as soon as we have new dates set, we will continue to update the website with information as it becomes available. Please share this with any members that are not on our email mailing list.
