Submit paper forms to your instructor or CTE counselor; if an online form version is provided, complete and submit it electronically. These forms help ensure student safety, parent/guardian awareness, and clear communication between schools and host sites.

PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS:
Maintain regular attendance and communication with your site supervisor and WCS designee.
Follow all workplace safety and conduct rules.
Dress appropriately for your placement site.
Track your hours and complete any reflection or evaluation forms.
Represent your school and program with professionalism.
If Wood County Schools are not in session for any reason, attendance at the internship will be determined by the host site supervisor in consultation with the school coordinator.
Immediately report any injury or concern to the instructor or site supervisor.

CTE Financial Resources
STAND Program – The STAND Program enables West Virginia residents, who are in an apprenticeship or are a journey worker, to complete the courses necessary to receive an associate degree. Eligible applicants can receive a grant to cover tuition and approved fees at participating community colleges in West Virginia. [LINK]
WV Invests Grant – West Virginia Invests covers your tuition to any state Community and Technical College (CTC) for your certificate or associate’s degree in an in-demand, high-paying field. [LINK]
HEAPS Grant – The goal of the Higher Education Adult Part-Time Student (HEAPS) Grant Program is to encourage and enable West Virginia students who demonstrate financial need to continue their education on a part-time basis at undergraduate institutions of higher education. . [LINK]
