Agriculture Education provides students with a comprehensive foundation in the industry’s major pathways, including Animal Systems, Plant Systems, and Natural Resources Management. Learners can focus on one area or explore multiple pathways over one to four years of study. Coursework introduces students to agricultural science, animal care and nutrition, crop production, greenhouse and land management, soil science, environmental conservation, agribusiness basics, and the safe operation of agricultural tools and equipment. Through classroom instruction, hands-on labs, and supervised agricultural experiences, students develop problem-solving, leadership, and workforce skills essential to the agriculture industry. Students also have the opportunity to participate in FFA and 4-H to expand their leadership development, competitive event participation, and real-world application of agricultural knowledge.
