The Westmount Music Parents’ Society actively works to raise funds to support the mid-high music program.
The money raised is used in a variety of ways, such as:
New instrument purchases
Trip subsidies (including day trips for all students or overnight trips for grades 7-12)
Transportation to various concert venues
Your support lets us provide these and other services to create a strong music program.
How can you help?
There are many different ways to support the efforts of the WMPS:
Participating in our fall apple fundraiser or any other fundraisers
Buying treats at our November bake sales
Bidding on items in our November silent auction
Attending our year-end fundraising concert at the Jubilee Auditorium
Buying tickets for our end-of-year 50/50 raffle
Making a donation at any of our events
Volunteering to help with any of our fundraising initiatives
Volunteering at the school casino (you can allocate funds to support the music program)
Asking your workplace if they make donations on an employee’s behalf to support programs and then requesting a corporate donation on your behalf (let us know if you plan to make a request by emailing wmpsfundraise@gmail.com)
Making a donation to Westmount Charter School and asking the funds to be allocated to the music program (you can receive a tax receipt).
