Mission Statement

The mission of the LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division is to diligently investigate and solve crimes mainly Homicides, Robberies, Burgulries and Kidnappings, ensuring justice for victims and accountability for criminals. Through relentless pursuit of truth, evidence-based methodologies, and collaboration with community partners, CID strives to dismantle criminal networks, disrupt organized crime, and enhance public safety. Our highly trained detectives work tirelessly to gather intelligence, analyze evidence, and bring perpetrators to justice while respecting the rights of all individuals. Committed to integrity, professionalism, and excellence, RHD endeavors to foster trust, promote transparency, and uphold the rule of law in partnership with the diverse communities of Los Angeles.
