Sanghoon Jeon

전상훈(全商勳)

He received his B.E. degree in Electronic Engineering from Kyungpook National University, Republic of Korea, in 2012. He obtained his M.E. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Information and Communication Engineering at DGIST, Republic of Korea, in 2014 and 2020, respectively. He served as a Senior Researcher at Hanyang University's Industry-University Cooperation Foundation from March to August 2020, became a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Emergency Medicine from September 2020 to September 2022, and then was appointed as a Research Assistant Professor in the same department from October 2022 to September 2023. Since Oct 2023, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Security, College of Intelligent Software Convergence, at The University of Suwon, Hwaseong-si, Republic of Korea. His research primarily focuses on the development of healthcare applications using Wearable Computing and Cyber-Physical Systems.

Research Interests

Wearable Computing, Healthcare & IoT Applications, Edge Computing, Artificial Intelligence of Things, Embedded Systems, Cyber-Physical Systems, and Information Security.
