About the Library

The library is centrally located in the campus, The Library is well Ventilated with adequate facilities. It is a partially computerized library with an Internet facility. The college library is having 5507 books including Text Books, Reference books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, G.K., etc on various subjects. The college library regularly subscribes to about 06 journals and periodicals. There are two computers in the library, which are used for monitoring the accession of books, stock verification, and other related work. Last 13 years we are using the computerized system with the help of LIBRARY MANAGER SOFTWARE. A reading room attached with the library has a capacity of around 25-30 students. The reading room is open for eight hours on working days. During the examination period, the reading room is also open from 9.00 am to 2,00 pm.The library is enriched with a number of Audio –Visual aids, which helps particularly the teachers, postgraduate students, and research students. The Internet with broadband facility is available for the Staff members student, and research students. There is open access system for all library users.

To assist the teachers to be abreast of the latest developments in their area of specialization.
To create reading habits in the students belonging to the rural and tribal areas.
To receive recent information from various magazines, journals, and periodicals.
To empower women by providing knowledge beyond their reach
To develop & maintain reading habits among the students.
To provide a reader-friendly atmosphere.
