Webster City Community Theatre

FEBRUARY 21, 2021

WCCT members and others interested in discussing plans for this summer and next season are invited to gather at the theatre on Sunday, February 21, at 5:00 pm.

We are not staging “The Sound of Music” this July...but plan that the “hills will be alive” in 2022. Director Wil Groves believes we will not be able to safely hold auditions this March and begin rehearsals this spring.

The thought, at this time, is to offer a couple of “Pop-Up Outdoor Theatre productions” with an emphasis on Broadway show tunes.

We will brainstorm shows for the 2021-2022 Season which we hope to launch in the fall. Bring your ideas for comedies, mysteries, dramas, musicals, and youth shows. What would you like to direct, audition for, work behind the scenes on, or enjoy from the audience?

We may not see the return of Camp Creamery this summer. What could we offer our budding actors and actresses instead? Bring your ideas.
