Hi! My name is Laura Ortelt and I’m honored to serve as the President of the Western Coventry PTO. I live right here in Coventry with my husband and our two children—Jackson, who is in 7th grade, and Amelia, who is in 3rd grade. We love spending time together as a family, especially when we’re out adventuring—whether it’s camping, hiking, or exploring new places. When I’m not working full-time for the Social Security Administration or volunteering for PTO, you’ll likely find me painting with watercolors, reading a good book, or planning our next adventure.

Being part of the PTO has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me. It’s connected me with so many wonderful families and lifelong friends. I truly believe in the phrase "It takes a village," and I’m grateful every day to be part of this supportive and caring school community. I’m passionate about giving back and helping make Western Coventry an even better place for our children to learn and grow.

Hi, my name is Jen. I am the VP of the PTO this year! I have 2 Westies, Braxton(4th grade) and Dalton(1st grade). My daughter Alina attended Western K-5, she is moving on to middle school this year! My oldest daughter Delaney stays home with me, she is always with me volunteering at the events! 

     Outside of school we love spending time with friends, going on adventures and playing sports! I was a nanny for many years before having my own kids! I now babysit kids in my home and just recently started my own balloon buisness! I love creating new balloon designs and doing anything that has to do with crafting! 

    I am a former Westie myself! I attended k-6 so Western will always hold a special place in my heart. I’m looking forward to helping the PTO make this year fun and memorable for everyone!

Hi, my name is Danielle. I myself had been in the Coventry school system throughout my high school career. Western became our home in 2024 when my daughter Stella entered full day Kindergarten. I joined the PTO and then became a board member to stay up to date on events and help do my part to ensure these events could continue for our kids. The joy they experience is immense! Hi! I'm Jess - I have lived in Western forever. I am a former Westie myself! My son Trevor is in 9th grade and I have 2 older boys that also attended Western. My husband and I joined the PTO to help out at events and eventually I took on a board position. I absolutely love seeing the joy in our kiddos faces when they attend our events.
