Awareness

Besides research and academic trainings, WCB research lab and our scholars and volunteers are actively involved in community awareness activities and programmes. We have organized several awareness programmes in Gujarat. The awareness programmes are mainly focusing on biodiversity conservation, community plantation, tribal awareness for sloth bear and leopard and also farmer awareness programme for pesticide free farming. WCB also organizing children environment education programme with various school and our scholars are conducting lectures on career opportunities in the field of conservation and wildlife biology. We are also organizing specific awareness programmes for school, villagers, teachers and other stakeholders on request.
