Mrs. Goober serves as the Director of Wayne Christian Academy's Aftercare Program. She is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where every child feels valued and cared for.
Kelli is the proud mother of three daughters and is married to her husband, Dustin. Together, they have two children who attend Wayne Christian Academy—a senior and a fifth-grade student. As both a WCA parent and staff member, Kelli understands the importance of providing families with dependable, Christ-centered after-school care.
Mrs. Goober looks forward to partnering with families and making each afternoon a positive experience for every student.

Aftercare tuition is billed the month following your student's attendance.
For example:
August aftercare attendance will be drafted on September 25.
September aftercare attendance will be drafted on October 25, and so on.
All Aftercare tuition is paid through Automatic ACH Draft, with payments processed on the 25th of each month.
If you are not already enrolled in WCA's ACH payment program, you will be required to complete an ACH Authorization Form before your student may attend Aftercare.
Please note: Automatic ACH draft is the required payment method for all families participating in the Aftercare Program.

Welcome to the Wayne Christian Academy Aftercare Program! Our goal is to provide a safe, structured, and Christ-centered environment where students can learn, grow, build friendships, and enjoy their afternoons after the school day ends.
We understand that every family's schedule is unique, and we're grateful for the opportunity to partner with you by providing dependable, high-quality after-school care. Thank you for trusting us with your child. It is a responsibility we take seriously.
Students report to the Aftercare Program immediately following school dismissal.
Students are provided with a nutritious afternoon snack. Snack time lasts approximately 15 minutes.
To help keep our students healthy and hydrated, please send your child to school each day with a labeled water bottle. While WCA provides an afternoon snack, each student is required to have their own water bottle available throughout the afternoon, especially during outdoor activities and warmer Georgia weather.
Students with homework will have approximately 45 minutes of supervised homework time.
Students without homework, along with our younger students, will participate in reading time or other age-appropriate quiet activities.
While our staff is available to encourage and assist students when needed, parents should review completed homework each evening to ensure accuracy and completion.
Once homework and quiet time have concluded, students will enjoy supervised indoor or outdoor play, games, and other planned activities.
Outdoor play is an important part of our Aftercare Program, and students will enjoy time outside whenever weather permits. Because Georgia weather can change quickly and temperatures can become extremely hot or cold, our staff carefully monitors weather conditions each day and will use their best judgment when determining whether activities should take place indoors or outdoors.
The health, safety, and well-being of every child will always be our highest priority.
Parents are welcome to pick up their child at any time during Aftercare hours. Our program is designed with flexibility in mind to accommodate your family's schedule. Students do not have to remain in Aftercare until 5:15 PM.
Students will begin cleaning up, gathering their belongings, and preparing for pick-up.
All students must be picked up by 5:15 PM.
The safety of every student is our highest priority.
Students who are not picked up during the regular afternoon car rider dismissal will automatically be escorted to the Aftercare Program, where they will remain under staff supervision.
Aftercare charges begin at 3:20 PM. Any student who is not picked up during regular dismissal and is transferred to Aftercare will be charged beginning at 3:20 PM, regardless of whether they were pre-registered for the program.
If your child will be attending Aftercare, we encourage you to complete the Aftercare Enrollment Form before their first day of attendance. Families who are not currently enrolled will be required to complete the enrollment process and an ACH Authorization Form, as Automatic ACH Draft is the required payment method for all Aftercare services.
To ensure the safety and security of every student, we ask that families follow these procedures each afternoon.
Parents may pick up their child at any time during Aftercare hours.
When you arrive:
Park and enter through the school office entrance.
Text the Aftercare phone at (912) 294-4634 to let us know you have arrived so we can have your child ready for pick-up.
A parent, guardian, or authorized pick-up person must come inside the building to sign the student out.
Students will not be released to waiting vehicles or allowed to leave the building without an approved adult.
Only individuals listed on the student's authorized pick-up list may sign a student out.
These procedures are in place to ensure every child is safely released into the care of an authorized adult. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and secure dismissal process.

Our Aftercare Program concludes promptly at 5:15 PM each day. We kindly ask that all students be picked up on time so our staff can conclude their workday and spend time with their own families.
We understand that unexpected situations may occasionally arise. If you know you will be delayed, please call the school as soon as possible to let us know.
While we will always ensure your child remains safe and supervised until you arrive, a late pick-up fee of $10.00 per minute will be assessed beginning at 5:16 PM.
