WC26 Live — Privacy Policy

Unofficial Fan App: WC26 Live is an independent, unofficial fan application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, the World Cup, or any official sports organization or broadcaster. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
WC26 Live ("we", "our", "the App") provides live scores, schedules, standings, predictions, and a community feed for the 2026 World Cup. We operate independently. Privacy contact: romasagcc@gmail.com.
Email address — for account creation and authentication (via Supabase / Google Sign-In).
Username — shown on your posts, comments, and predictions.
Profile content & app activity — your posts, comments, likes, emoji reactions, predictions, and content reports, stored to power and moderate community features.
Photos you upload — images you attach to posts are stored in our secure cloud storage and shown publicly in the feed.
Advertising ID — used by Google AdMob to serve ads (with your consent where required).
Push notification token — only if you enable notifications, so we can send goal alerts, match reminders, and reply/mention notifications.
Device & diagnostic data — anonymous crash and performance data for stability.
We do NOT collect: phone numbers, precise location, contacts, health data, or payment-card details.
Guest users: if you use the App as a Guest, no personally identifiable account data is collected.
3. Third-Party Services (each has its own privacy policy)
Supabase — hosts your account, authentication, and community content (protected by Row-Level Security).
Google AdMob — serves ads and uses your device's Advertising ID. You can opt out of personalized ads.
API-Football (api-sports.io) — provides match data only. No user data is shared with them.
Sentry — crash/error diagnostics only; no personally identifiable information.
Expo / Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivers push notifications if you enable them.
To create and authenticate your account; display your community content; serve ads (personalized only with consent); improve the app via anonymous analytics; and comply with legal obligations. We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
5. Advertising & Consent (GDPR / CCPA)
The App is free and ad-supported via Google AdMob. Users in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and California are shown a consent prompt on first launch. Decline = non-personalized ads (the app stays fully functional). You can change this anytime in the app's ad settings. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 16.
Account data is kept until you delete your account. Posts/predictions are kept until you delete them or your account. Crash logs auto-delete after 90 days.
Access / Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data in the app via Profile → Delete Account (irreversible). You may also email us.
Rectification: Update your username in Profile.
Object: Opt out of personalized ads anytime.
CCPA (California): Right to know, delete, and opt out — we do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, use the in-app tools or email romasagcc@gmail.com. (we respond within 30 days).
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Authentication and Row-Level Security ensure you can only access your own data.
