Act to provide collaboration between leaders, wellbeing of leaders and representation for leaders.
Co-ordinate school leader membership of multi-stakeholder groups, boards and committees.
Work collaboratively with the all stakeholders including; LA, Diocese, MATs, alliances, cross phase;
Facilitate Headteacher consultation and feedback across the school led system;
Link West Berkshire headteachers to local and national Headteachers’ associations;
Organise an annual conference with high quality speakers;
Organise members’ meetings;
Organise single issue meetings as required;
Commission services for schools and Headteachers.
We offer two levels of membership in addition to the associate membership provided to all;

The West Berkshire Primary Headteacher’s Association holds data to allow it to fulfil its functions.
For each West Berkshire nursery, infant, junior, primary and special school it holds;

For all schools who have previously paid a subscription we retain the remittance slip for the duration of the financial year in question. We also maintain a list indicating who has paid for a subscription and at what rate.

We use this information to enable us to fulfil our constitution. Namely, to enable collaboration, wellbeing and representation for school leaders.
We maintain a public website that names committee members.
We use email as the primary means of communication. We always use blind carbon copy when sending communication to every school. We will not do this when emailing individual schools.
