Packtivities Calendar Updated for 2023 / 2024

Cub Scouts Give Thanks!

Earlier this fall our scouts distributed popcorn donations to Emergency Responders, Sheriff Office, and Military Troops. Scouts are learning to give back and support those who give so much to keep us safe.  This Wednesday (11/30/22) our Pack will come together for a Scouts-Giving event. At this event, boys and girls will create cards for our military troops who cannot be home for the holidays.

Pack Campout November 12th

A little bit of cold weather did could not stop our scouts from camping. They hiked trails, met new friends, played games, learned how to prep meals, and start a camp fire. All of our campers also earned their Polar Bear camping patch. This patch can be earned by scouts who camp in 32 degrees or less. By our calculations it got down to a chilly 28 degrees overnight.

November 11th - Celebrate a Veteran

Our scouts support our Veterans. On  Friday November 11th, cub scouts will  wear their class A uniforms, and participate in their school's celebration of our nation's Veteran's.

TRUNK or TREAT and Scout Service Hours

If you are spooky, scary, creepy-crawly or glittery, then the Wells Branch Trunk-or-Treat is the place to be on Halloween! It's a fun-filled evening for tricking-or-treating in a safe and controlled environment. Car trunks and truck beds are quite the sight on this night; passing out tasty treats to all they greet. You won’t want to miss Wells Branch Parks and Recreation’s Out of This World trunk display, made from 100% reused, recycled and repurposed items. Stop by the photo booth for a complimentary keepsake!

All hands on deck for this service project. Pack 728 provides a "trunk" as part of our service hour commitment to the Wells Branch MUD. Scout Families please bring a bag of candy to our Pack meeting on 10/26 and sign up using the signupGenious button for a time you are available to set up, distribute candy, or clean up at this fun Halloween event.

2022 Rain Gutter Regatta

We had some fantastic boats and great racing by our cub scouts. Scouts were full of hot air and everyone had fun. They may have gone home a bit wetter than when they arrived. Lessons learned - bring more towels! Scouts showed their helpful side and helped clean up the race tracks and wipe down tables for storage. Awards for Best Paint Job, Cub Scout Spirit, Most Creative, and Turtle in addition to First, Second and Third place distributed tonight at the Pack meeting.  Parents please share your photos  to wbpack728@gmail.com
